The Naive Indian
by Krishna Aradhi
This blog is about everything Indian (and sometimes international). About what my naive mind feels about issues which are political, economical, social, etc. etc. etc.! I will mostly write about real issues on this blog. Issues that affect us, directly or indirectly.
Who am I?
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering in Pune, India. I love to read a lot and sometimes feel very strongly about certain issues. So you can expect a lot of criticism of our incompetent, unpatriotic, vote-hungry, (mostly) geriatric politicians; besides a whole lot of commentary on all things Indian.
Please subscribe to the RSS feeds to stay updated (as well as to make me feel better and inspired to continue posting!!!).

Hey, Krishna,
Just thought i’d drop you a line and ask, 1. if you are familiar with our (Louisiana’s) new Govenor Bobbi Jindal and 2. if you are, what is your thoughts on the subject. We, the people that voted for him, have very high hopes and feel he can make a difference. This would be in no uncertain terms a grand undertaking, as you or your readers may or may not know, the people of Louisiana, elect some of the most, incompetent ….. etc, so do not feel like a voice in the wilderness. There is a saying here that “Louisiana has the best polititions money can buy”. We may have much in common, with one exception, i believe in Govenor Jindal, our Indian American friend. Time will only tell if he gives me any foddor for MY blog.
Wishing you great success in your endevor, Louis Smith

Yes, I know a bit about him. And from what I know of him, he seems to have quite a good track record.
If I am right, in the 1990s during his tenure as secretary of Louisiana’s Medicaid program, the program went from bankruptcy to having a multi-million dollar surplus in three years! What more can you ask for? Your new governor has guts.
If you want to feel even more reassured, you may like to read this post on redstate.com. It would remove all your doubts.
One more point in his favor is that he is only 36 years old. That’s refreshing! You guys are lucky.
If only we had a leader like him in India……
